Everybody knows what this is. It’s a concrete floor, newly laid and smoothed off. Once it has hardened, it will be ground down until it is level and then it will be finished with a surface layer – could be marble – could be epoxy paint – could be wood, vinyl, natural stone etc.



But what is this?



This is also concrete. In fact it is the same floor. So what is the difference between A and B?

HTC Superfloor™  is a revolutionary concept that offers a new perspective on floor surfacing. Just remember, before any newly laid floor can be finished, it must be ground. With HTC Superfloor™, the grinding process simply continues, through seven separate stages (three grinding and four polishing) – you can use fewer, if you like: it depends on what quality of finish you require.

In terms of production cost, it is less expensive than most traditional flooring. In terms of long term cost (i.e. cost of ownership), it is much, much less. Just think, with paint you need to rip it off every few years and grind, then replace the paint – how much does that cost? With marble, crystallisation treatment is time-consuming and expensive.
