In 2007, after 12 years of growing success in the business
of Floor Care products and Washroom Hygiene, Al Bariq
commenced a new venture when it assumed the representation
of HTC from Sweden.
HTC, founded in 1987, has won world-wide acclaim for its
Floor-Grinding and Polishing machines – these products stand
out from the crowd, thanks to their incredible toughness and
appetite for work.
In particular, HTC grinding machines will transform concrete
itself into a smooth, glossy and attractive surface,
suitable for showrooms, warehouses, offices, supermarkets,
concourses and many other locales: this is the HTC
Superfloor™, a unique
concept,developed by HTC, that is good to look at, as well
as inexpensive to create and to maintain.
Although it might seem a big step to leap from Floor Care to
Surface Preparation, the move has been a total success for
Al Bariq, with rapid sales growth and immediate
specialisation in sales and after-sales. Complementary
products have now joined the line-up, notably Airtec from
Switzerland, with a range of Scarifiers and related
products, as well as Trimmer from Italy, with a selection of
Shot-Blasting machines.
As an initiative to accelerate Al-Bariq’s Commercial Care
business in the U.A.E., part of our key corporate policy is
to give proper attention to the needs of each customer. This
includes after-sales service, as well as operational and
technical training of customer staff.
We have built up an excellent reputation as a reliable
supplier of machinery and sundry tools. The high quality and
dependability of our attention to the market place is
genuinely appreciated by our customers. Consequently, we are
willing and able to carry out installation of each new
machine that we sell – in fact, we insist on it – and to
conduct operator training for the relevant personnel.
To keep abreast of the new demands presented by the Surface
Preparation products, we have ensured that our service
personnel underwent training by our suppliers in Sweden,
Italy and Switzerland, as well as here in Dubai.
